Upon it’s design, the 60 May Street building was dubbed the best lighted building in Bangor by the Industrial Journal, with the walls mostly being constructed of glass. Formerly known as the Murray Brothers Office, the building has since been remodeled as apartment housing and commercial space but continues to showcase the beloved industrial characteristics it boasted upon its construction.
The building sits just across the street from Bangor’s beautiful waterfront and within walking distance to the musical epicenter of eastern Maine, The Darling’s Waterfront Pavilion. In addition, 60 May Street is located just off the beaten path of downtown, offering residents the luxury of privacy and the convenience of city life!
Today residential apartments occupy the upstairs while the first floor is home to the offices of Telford Holdings.
